The best drivers deserve great pay, excellent benefits, responsive fleet managers and modern trucks. At CFI, driver satisfaction is at the top of the list. Our solo drivers average $52,500 per year. When you begin with CFI, you'll earn: - $0.36 per mile to all single drivers with one year of experience
- $0.34 per mile to all single drivers with 9 months of experience
- $0.32 per mile to all single drivers with 6 months of experience
- $0.30 per mile to all single drivers with 3 months of experience
- Additional pay incentives available for teams
- Regularly scheduled pay increases

Referral Bonus
You receive a $1,000 referral bonus for each experienced driver or team hired as a result of your referral.
Safety Bonus
A safety bonus is paid to each full-time, over-the-road company driver who does not have a preventable occurrence from December 1 through February 28 (payable approximately April 1), from March 1 through May 31 (payable approximately July 1), from June 1 through August 31 (payable approximately October 1) and from September 1 through November 30 (payable approximately January 1). The bonus adds up to $0.04 per mile for dispatched miles during that period. A solo driver receives credit for all single miles. All team miles dispatched are split.
State Bonus Pay
CFI pays an additional $0.05 for each mile dispatched in these states: - Connecticut
- Delaware
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- New Hampshire
- New Jersey
- New York
- Pennsylvania
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
- Virginia
- District of Columbia
Drivers receive bonus pay per mile for all paid miles, whether loaded, empty, or bobtail. Team drivers split the $0.05 per mile pay for miles dispatched into the qualifying areas.
Vacation Pay
CFI offers all employees one week of paid vacation after one year of service and two weeks of paid vacation after two years. Vacation pay is based on the driver's average earnings over 52 weeks. CFI has six paid holidays at $60 per day each. You do not need to be on the road to collect holiday pay. Drivers must be employed 30 days prior to the holiday and have dispatched miles during the pay period of the holiday and/or the pay period prior to the holiday to be eligible.
