Company Team of the Month

May, 2008

James and Charlene Suel
Doubting Thomas and Wishful Thinking

James & Charlene Suel operate truck 24266 on fleet 43 with Diana Rearrick as their fleet manager. On the road, they use the handles “Doubting Thomas” and “Wishful Thinking”. “Time management and good planning are a necessity,” they advise. “When you get your load assignment make sure you get all the needed information, run steady and get there early.”

James has been driving professionally for over 21 years and Charlene has been a driver for 17 years. They became a part of the CFI / Con-way team during the merger in 2007.

“We love being out on the open road,” they say. “There’s a sense of freedom you just can’t get sitting behind a desk.”

They reside in Louisville, Kentucky. Together they have five children: James, Russell, Jaslyn (Jason), John and Brandy. When not on the road they both enjoy spending time with their children. James is also a big auto racing fan and Charlene enjoys spending time around the house.

“We would like to thank Dianna Rearrick and everyone from the load planners to the management personnel,” they say. “We also need to say a special thank you to all of our family for understanding why we can’t be around for everything,” they add.

Congratulations James and Charlene Suel on becoming the Company Team of the Month!
